Expression of my mood in melancholia through the image of the ocean is the concept of this piece. The vast blue space, as the sunlight gives colors to the waves, is expressed with papers dyed with shades of blue and intentionally spaced out to the surface. Each piece is unique as each wave is unique.

“The vastness of the waves, gentle splashes, and the ocean are both this and that. Like the ocean, a heart holds great wrath but it is also capable of great compassion and tenderness. Paper is torn for uniqueness, as each wave is unique. Although all the pieces are different, the composition forms a pattern. Each piece is individual not only in shape and size but in color tones as well. The deep blue that is dominant is the depth of the ocean and its mystery. The white background is the light reflected, on a peaceful and calm surface.
