Fear of Isolation: A man is stuck on the side of a country road, the tire of his station wagon completely flat. The fashion and car make it clear that this scene takes place in the 1980s, suggesting that the driver wouldn't have a cellphone to call for help. Without contact to the outside world, he is completely isolated.
