Racing Horses

“Racing Horses”, 2024. 22” x 32”, acrylic, oil paint, oil pastel and ink on rug. This piece draws inspiration from the performative relationship between women and show horses, examining the inherent hypocrisy in societal standards of beauty and performance, and the unsettling speed at which value is stripped away from both.
