Abstract self portrait Series

“This series consists of free-form abstract portraits depicting emotional milestones. These pieces were aimed towards deconstructing and reconstructing my conceptual and technical approaches with my art to better view and understand my creative and psychological thought process. The series was intended to be lined up as a path of evolution and using both calculated and free-flowing techniques, such as lineart accompanied with paint-dropping methods and loose brushwork. Circumstances and situations always unexpectedly unfold in people’s lives, our initial reactions to these events outlines our intuitive nature as humans. Allowing things to happen and chances to unfold and accepting oneself and our experiences paves out our paths in life. Every experience is another foot forward on the road and understanding oneself even further is another step ahead.”
