என் தாய்நாடு My Motherland

Using just ink and a traditional calligraphy dip pen, I captured a landscape consisting of different elements of India such as trees, fields, mountains, homes, goats, dogs, and people. Using such elements is only a fraction of the vast culture and heritage held within India, it is also one of the many to my own experience and memories of home. என் தாய்நாடு (Eṉ tāynāṭu) meaning My Motherland. Through the use of delicate lining and special attention to detail, this image carries so many of my endearments to family, home, and land.
