There is an irrationality that is ever-present in mourning; one must re-learn to exist in the world. "Desire Lines I: Wings" is part of a triptych that reflects the hazy desperation of seeking something that cannot be attained; an overwhelming fixation and a desire to be whole in the aftermath of loss. Grief is an ephemeral yet deathless bruise on the psyche.
