An exploration of my childhood in the forest around the old blonde brick house that's long since burned down
“I set out to rediscover the lore I built of the forest I grew up in as a child years ago. I am happy to say that I felt a connection to a magic I have not felt in a long time.I am quite, maybe painfully, logical, and as a result, have suppressed my sense ofwonderment. This piece reconnected me ever so briefly, through my childhood, to themagic that I knew before in the way only children and the wisest are connected to allthe time. I found a spiritualism of storytelling and story knowing in this piece andthrough this work that thrills me”
