Trained in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy, I draw on metaphors like the “relationship vortex” to explore parallels between emotional and ecological upheaval. My photo-encaustic mixed-media works, including pieces based on NASA's 2023 wildfire imagery, reflect how emotional and environmental storms intertwine, revealing the fragility of systems and the urgent need for restoration and connection.
