Inter-Domestic Archive

Inter-Domestic Archive is a digital archive of personal spaces belonging to many different individuals of varying backgrounds and upbringings. Some exist as bedrooms, living spaces, work spaces, offices, and even bathrooms. The purpose of this archive is to showcase how each person’s space reflects their identity, through how it has collected objects and changed over stages of life, forming a soul of its own that represents its owner. Each room is different to the one next to it, just as each individual is. This digital space serves as a designed artifact that can resonate with anyone who feels they hold a complex identity and finds peace in existing across intersections and borders. Seeing yourself in the objects and space who hold around you is a reminder that identity forms based on each individual's lived experiences.
