To enhance the station's appeal, it is integrated more closely with community life—transforming it from a mere transportation hub into a center for community activities. The station becomes a focal point of daily life for local residents by offering convenient facilities. Through the concept of retention, the station not only retains commuters but also attracts nearby residents, boosting the community's vitality and sustainability.

“My thesis is titled "Retained in Bronte", it's a train station redesign project, which focuses on reimagining Bronte GO Station—not just as a place for transportation—but as a meaningful part of the community. My thesis word and key concept is "Retention". This idea is not only about keeping commuters moving efficiently, but also about drawing people in by retaining them through spatial quality, comfort, and everyday usability. The goal is to transform the station from a pass-through space into a community destination, blending mobility with gathering, activity, and identity.Through the design, I want Bronte GO Station to become more than just an infrastructure. I want it to become a place for people to come, rest, and stay. By focusing on the idea of retention, I hope to make the station that truly serves the community’s present needs while also preparing for its future growth.”
