This piece represents Night Terror in my collection of "FEAR" in which the figure has dreamt of plucking their own teeth from their gums. It is an acrylic painting on raw canvas that uses 5-point perspective to tell it's story.
“This represents a recurring nightmare that I and many others have experienced while asleep. I can distinctly recall the feeling of seeing my reflection in the dingy bathroom mirror and feeling the smoothness of my teeth turn to putty, and then slowly plucking out one by one until there is nothing left. This dream has been interpreted as a means of feeling out of control. or wanting to be in control from your subconscious.”
