“Manifestations portrays a liminal state between sleep and wakefulness, wherein mundane items take on an animated quality. The artwork depicts abstract figures emerging from a heap of laundry beside Lasek's bedside, evoking a sense of vitality within the still objects and disrupting the quiet of the night.”
