Concrete & Steel
Revo reimagines outdoor furniture through passive living principles, circular materials, and long-term emotional durability. By using CarbonCure concrete and recyclable steel, Revo challenges traditional wasteful design models. It offers a new approach where furniture becomes part of an enduring and regenerative cycle. It is designed for comfort, longevity, and a future where nothing is thrown away.Insight:Most “sustainable” furniture still relies on adhesives, toxic finishes, and composite materials that make disassembly and recycling nearly impossible. Even upcycled designs often delay, rather than eliminate, waste—highlighting a gap between sustainable intention and truly circular execution.Idea:Revo is an outdoor furniture system made from CarbonCure concrete and recyclable steel—assembled without glues, coatings, or chemical treatments. Its design balances durability, thermal comfort, and minimalism, making it both materially responsible and aesthetically timeless. Every component is mechanically fastened for easy repair, reuse, and recovery.Impact:Revo redefines what sustainable furniture can be by building circularity into its core—from material sourcing to end-of-life. It offers eco-conscious users a long-lasting alternative to fast furniture and sets a precedent for scalable, low-waste design that doesn’t compromise on comfort or beauty.

“How might we create furniture that supports a closed-loop lifecycle while meeting the functional and aesthetic needs of eco-conscious users?”
