2. My cat, my cat, my cat.

I had a cat named Coco, who was my first pet. One day, two adults approached us and took her away from me, and I was never able to see her again. I vividly remember how Coco resisted, scratching at the floor as if she didn’t want to go with them. The sounds, textures, and the people around us all contributed to a memory of me as a powerless child.
