Generation of Patterns is a year-long thesis project investigating the psychological impact of patterns and using them as a visual language through generative systems informed by journal documentation, interactive engagement, and creative exploration. Patterns are everywhere. They repeat to impose order, tell a narrative, reflect identity, create mood, and infinitely more. My process de-centralizes human subjectivity and prioritizes relationality ontology to question assumptions, embrace multistability, and redefine who and what design serves.Generation of Patterns consists of a comprehensive website, Pattern archive, Pattern Profiles, Pattern Interaction, Pattern Rolodex, and experimentations such as embroidery, paper-cutting, loom, and daily drawings.

“A pattern is repetitive and predictable. As I continuously generate work that reflects my interpretation and emotional state, I hope you begin to notice a pattern and perhaps learn something about yourself while leaving room for surprises. ”
