Here we can see Mira, Lada and Sasha hiding from a Leshy, a forest protector creature prevalent in slavic mythology. Furthermore, the name of the piece is a line from one of Pushkin's poems that mentions said creature:
“What marvels there! The wood-sprite rides, Among the leaves the mermaid hides;”
