Before You Go

Before You Go explores the psyche of letting go of unhealthy patterns and habits which no longer positively serve a person. My thesis film follows Grace as she patiently awaits the arrival of someone at their special spot, she waits for days, months, and seasons to no avail until she is engulfed by a storm that forces her to look inward. The title Before You Go acts as a plea, the hope to stay for one more second. The film engages with an overall sentimental tone with its stylistic and narrative-driven combination—it bestows a reminder that the world stops for no one, and one will have to get up and move on.
