This work marks a significant milestone in my artistic journey, as it represents the first piece I created in my Body of Water series. I aimed to capture the peaceful sensations that nature originally brought me, and to find a balance between my mind and body in order to execute my vision.The interplay between the reflection of light on the water and the reflection of the mind is central to this work. I wanted to convey the sense of balance and harmony that can be found in nature, and to encourage viewers to reflect on the interconnectedness between our inner and outer experiences. The purples, pinks, and blues in this work settle my mind and evoke a sense of tranquility, which I hoped to convey to viewers. Ultimately, my goal was to create a work that captures the beauty and tranquility of nature while also providing a space for introspection and reflection.
