Illuminated Connections

In a society that often overlooks introverts, where can they go to connect with new people when just the idea drains their energy? Illuminated Connections addresses loneliness by creating a space where introverts can comfortably engage in more meaningful conversations, beyond small talk. This helps with fulfilling unmet social needs while also challenging the digital era’s impact on real-world connectionlluminated Connections is an interactive furniture piece designed to explore the importance of social connection and address the growing crisis of loneliness in the digital age. As technology continues to shape the way we communicate, many aspects of in-person interactions have diminished, leading to a decline in meaningful connections. This project aims to revitalize tangible social engagement by encouraging conversations and fostering community within third spaces.
