Feelings Like Waves

With this piece, I wanted to capture the diverse colours and textures that can be found in the natural world, especially in the strong waves of the ocean. Although these waves can be powerful and intense, I find watching them to be soothing and calming. I aimed to convey this sense of peace through my brushstrokes and colour choices, layering shades of blue, green, and purple to recreate the ebb and flow of the tide. My hope is that this artwork inspires viewers to appreciate the beauty and complexity of nature, and to find moments of stillness and tranquility even in the midst of chaos.
