An entertainer, who is one of the lowest class people in the Choson dynasty, performs a tightrope walking over streetcars.
“The class system that existed in the Choson Dynasty had a closed and exploitative character, and although it has long since disappeared, its remnants remain still. Even in the present age, which publicizes various forms of discrimination, an invisible class system exists. People discriminate or are discriminated, either openly or indirectly, based on their race, occupation, or environment. The entertainer, who is a part of the lowest class occupations, performed for the public. Their play usually contained a story making fun of the government, and tried to overcome the difficulties of life with humour and laugh. They dreamed of a society where no one is discriminated by their social class or their origins.”
