Conversations Together

In this artwork, there are two figures representing two different stages of myself: one depicting my younger self, and the other portraying me as an adult. Both are depicted enjoying a meal composed of foods I frequently ate back home, like bananas, beans, and fruits. The current version of myself engages in conversation with my younger self, seeking to revive connections and reminisce about memories and specifics of our homeland. In the background, three banana leaves partially conceal the figures, symbolizing a strong memory from my childhood- playing with my siblings within some banana trees next to our house.
