Third Culture Dictionary

Third Culture Dictionary is a pocket-sized dictionary publication archiving derogatory terms and words in multiple different languages. The concept of the dictionary is meant to connect with third culture kids, which is the community of kids that grew up in a culture and setting not linked to the one their parents’ grew up in. In this experience, it's common to pick up phrases in other languages from peers, and these phrases are often the swear words and insults from the language. All entries were derived from interviews and submissions by peers. This archive is a result of multiple individuals of multiple cultures coming together and relating to this one experience, without which this publication would not exist, and in doing so created a community in itself those who in some way connect to this concept.
