“This work is a sculptural installation that charts the physical and emotional burden of chemotherapy. Each plaster IV bag represents one of the 36 infusions endured during six months of treatment, transforming 36,000 milliliters of toxic medication into a poetic, suspended archive.Hanging in a rhythmic line, the ghostly white bags evoke both absence and accumulation. Made by hand with plaster bandage and pottery plaster, each form is unique—bearing the marks of time, touch, and process. The result is both uniform and personal, clinical and intimate, reflecting the tension between medical protocol and embodied experience. This quiet wall of vessels becomes a ledger of endurance, mourning, and material memory. The installation invites viewers to consider the invisible weight of illness, and the monumental scale of what often goes unseen.”
