(4) Painting - Going home

The work features my son getting piggybacked by his father going home during the Fall. Fall signifies change and how children are always changing. The viewer can tell the season through the autumn colours, cool light, and the outwear of the figures. My son is holding on to a baseball and leaves while my husband has a baseball bat. It signifies how parents teach children and have their own hopes and dreams embedded in them. My son's pants have tears to show imperfections in life.
