Fake Body is a digital illustration created by combining a digital painting with a digital text overlay of an original poem.

“Fake Body is an artwork focused on a core part of my identity. Religion, faith, or spirituality has been used to enforce caste throughout history. Personally, the “body of Christ” has become a place of misinformed hierarchy, institutionalization, and nationalism. To break away from caste would require a future of radical communities for Christ’s Care.”
