Smoker examines indulgence and vanity as themes in figurative art through the cigarette. By depicting the digitally contrived body smoking, I consider the humans existence in digital space as parallel to physical space. I hyperbolize and contradict this digital body by composing analog objects in digital space, forming a dialect between the human’s ability to pass between digital and physical realities.
