Angel is a tribute to my mother’s strength and selflessness. Depicted in the piece is a photo from her wedding day in 1996—the moment her life became selfless. However, Angel is more than a mere portrait of my mother, it is a visual expression of the love and gratitude I hold for her and everything she has given.
