Hexa Box

These origami boxes house one of Macau’s popular snacks, almond cakes. They go through a handmade process, similar to almond cake production. Geometrical form ensures stability and security; Tile-inspired imagery covers the exterior, alternating between blue and white; Folded edges gather at the center point to resemble a blooming flower. The almond cake sits in a solid green interior as if resting on a lily pad. These paper boxes filled with intricate patterns serve as a memorable gift and display piece.
