Developed a series of mobile mini-games designed to teach young children the fundamentals of financial literacy. These games feature intuitive mechanics, vibrant visuals, and interactive themes, making complex financial concepts accessible and engaging for early learners.
“Financial Literacy Mini-Games: Educating Through PlaydateThe Piggy Catcher game introduces children to the concept of saving money in a fun and interactive way. Players control a piggy bank to catch falling coins while avoiding hammers that could break the bank. Each aspect of the game, from the intuitive mechanics to the engaging visuals and animations, was created by me.Key Features:Custom Assets: Every asset, including the piggy bank, coins, hammers, and backgrounds, was designed to provide a cohesive and child-friendly aesthetic.Dynamic Gameplay: The piggy bank changes visually with each hammer caught, introducing cracks that signal the risk of game-over and reinforce the importance of avoiding harmful elements.The Endless Shopper game introduces children to the concept of smart spending in an engaging and playful way. Players control a young character running through a grocery store, collecting items for a lemonade stand while avoiding obstacles. Every element of the game, from the responsive controls to the colorful visuals and animations, was created to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience.Key Features:Custom Assets: All assets, including the character, grocery items, shelves, and backgrounds, were designed to create a vibrant and kid-friendly shopping environment.Dynamic Gameplay: Shelves and obstacles are dynamically spawned, keeping the experience fresh and challenging as the player progresses.Interactive Controls: Swipe-based mechanics allow players to switch lanes smoothly, promoting engagement and accessibility for young learners.”
