Pattern Profiles

Pattern Profiles is a comprehensive profile book compiling participants’ answers in a raffle during the fall semester exhibition (Dec 4th–16th, 2024). I used questions on the ballots to assign motif characteristics and “randomize” the outcome of each pattern. The book contains unique Pantone-inspired inserts to showcase what typeface and personality traits are attached to the visual components of the patterns. This project highlights multiple interpretations of mood from patterns and how constraints can generate further identities of patterns.
