Aling (Miss/Mrs)“Aling” is used in front of a woman’s name in the Philippines. While researching my idea of Filipino culture, I asked my family members to send me photos of what they believed represented Filipino culture. I felt comfortable through nostalgia looking at the photo taken by my aunt of a vendor at a Filipino market.
