Machine knit long-sleeved top with original intarsia motif.
“Materially, I am attempting to emulate my own blurry, distorted, and kitschy memories by using fibres that are soft and translucent. Distortion is also seen in the designs themselves; through partial knitting techniques and pattern design, I am attempting to create garments that characterize the idea of growing out of or into garments. Extra-long and extra-short hems, oversized silhouettes paired with micro-designs, cheeky and playful iconography, all referring to this awkward adolescent stage of growing up. My pieces are meant to feel special like a keepsake or an heirloom, while also feeling fun and wearable.”
