Texture Packs

Textures taken from surfaces in my apartment, preserved in frozen protein powder solution.

“Texture Packs is an expanding archive of frozen EHP Labs Oxywhey = 100% Lean Protein Formulaobjects which contain suspended latex texture sheets, collected in my freezer at home.These Texture Packs areformed after various food containers, reusable or otherwise. This work is titled after digital archives of images which can be used to resurface digital objects.The textures were molded from my present surroundings – surfaces which I frequently turn to during lockdown days spent living and working in this space. Decorative ceiling plasters, outlets, rugs, fridge vinyl, the shower floor... all of these surfaces which impress upon me I am banking so that one day they can in turn impress upon another.”
