North American Chinese adoptees who were subject to China’s One Child Policy are seen exploring and cultivating their identities in their own ways, while creating positive impact on the world around them. The body of work portrays the sentiment that China’s rejected children have much more to offer than meets the eye.

“Inspired by NBC article "Staying Connected: Why These Nine Adoptees from China Reunite Annually.", nine young Chinese adopted girls celebrate mid-autumn festival together by sharing moon cakes, and embracing the cultural connection they hold.”
