Beeswax, gauche, yarn on burlap
36"x36"x1.5"
I create a double-sided painting on burlap surfaces that express the harmonious coexistence achieved by the lives of individuals who move at different speeds. It is made of two sides. One side expresses the honeycomb pattern with embroidery using various coloured yarn to convey the individual's life, on the other side, I paint an abstract image with beeswax and gauche to represent chaos world, suggesting the environment in which we live. The two sides are overlapped and projected together to reveal a harmonious image, borrowing the effects of light.
