“As a heterosexual feminist full of maternal instinct who is struggling to find my place between the art spirit and patriarchal capitalistic reality, I consider where women can stand when motherhood is forced by society or one's maternal instinct without any alternative. I find the answer in mother nature and convert it into art with inspiration from the unnoticed existences. One tiny leaf that barely bloomed from a dying tree, stumps, and fungi bloomed beautifully on the ground or the tree barks. All organisms in nature inspire me as infinite beings, which gives me the power to live by showing how to do their best to the life that seems to have stopped.I paint the images representationally but also recreate them through interpretation, focusing on the movement of my hands and enjoying intuitive decisions while working. The spontaneous variations created by the physical properties of paints and brushes help me transform the objects in the images into living subjects, which make the moment that I work as an artist shine.”
