“The film centres on Millie, a composer who is experiencing a downward spiral of creative block, while her long-lost imaginary friend Faye shows up to help her rediscover her creativity. Their unexpected journey turns into a return to a self that was once full of wonder and possibilities. Faye represents the forgotten sides of ourselves that we still long to explore and grow into without fear of repercussion. Instead of trying to escape into fantasy, the film aims to integrate it — to show how growth can be achieved by embracing the child inside. By the end, Millie has finished not just a piece of music but also a piece of herself. ”
