Painting & Poetry
“A dissection of the process of perception. Alternating between geometrically logical analysis and spontaneous free verse that tears an organic pattern into the seams of the once perfect symmetry. Allowing for my madness to be the catalyst in this co-creative trance. Vegetative gestation of dissociation contrasted by a wild and weird miasma of tangential thoughts. These thoughts appear in many forms and represent what appears in my consciousness at the ‘cosmogenic moment’. Simmering on the circumference of angelic whispers, dissipating into nightmares of entropy and returning to a state of numinous openness.”
Griffin McAllister is diagnosed with schizophrenia and is a spiritual practitioner. He was diagnosed in 2018 and has been in remission since receiving treatment that year. He primarily has Scots-Irish ancestry and is grateful for the opportunity to live and create in this space known as Tkaronto.
