Contemporary Figurative Artist
“I’ve always been drawn to figurative painting and often use my own figure as my muse. It allows me to express clear focus on notions of the self, such as identity and personal experiences. My art is also influenced by inner and outer perceptions toward beauty and aesthetics through line, form, and colour. In my work, I utilize the silkiness of oil paint to exude an illustrative and luxurious quality to my rendered figures. I intertwine digitally inspired elements into my work as well by using crisp, clean lines that act as a colour palette dripping from my images.”
