The Great Bald Cypress

The bald cypress tree is a rot resistant tree that symbolizes longevity, endurance, and mourning. They are not only able to resist rotting, but can now purify rot, further becoming a symbol of resilience in the world. Communities have formed around these trees, where they often hold ceremonies to provide offerings to the tree.
