The genre for music my thesis wanted to explore was grunge pop, so I made sure to explore that through what would visually represent that. I also made sure to design the character to be androgynous, which allows players to relate more by projecting their own identity onto the character. I was also inspired by post apocalyptic settings for the environment and wanted the colouring style to be similar to that of a comic book.
