The Little Miffy Room

Animation
2024
Blender
This cozy 3D-modeled room is adorned with playful Miffy-themed decor, capturing the charm of the iconic character through soft pastels, minimalistic furniture, and gentle lighting. Miffy illustrations and plushies are thoughtfully placed around the space, adding a warm, nostalgic touch. The scene comes to life with a short animation featuring a small bear character that walks into the room, adding a narrative element and a sense of personality to the environment. The bear’s entrance is animated with subtle, lifelike motion, creating a gentle, storybook-like atmosphere.

“Growing up, Miffy was a comforting presence that shaped my early imagination. Her simple lines, soft colors, and quiet sense of wonder brought a calm joy into my life, and I would often find myself drawing her over and over, surrounded by her little world of friends. That love for Miffy sparked a lifelong appreciation for cute, minimal, and emotionally resonant characters.Over the years, this nostalgia has evolved into a deeper passion for character design and storytelling through visuals. I’m drawn to the charm of small, expressive details—how something seemingly simple can carry so much warmth and emotion. It’s why I gravitate toward design work that feels playful, approachable, and a little whimsical. Whether I’m modeling in 3D or illustrating by hand, I aim to create spaces and characters that feel emotionally honest, just like Miffy did for me.That early connection to cute characters has helped shape my creative voice—one rooted in softness, sincerity, and the quiet power of gentle design. It reminds me that joy doesn't always have to be loud, and that there's beauty in the little things.”

“I know I won't always get it right—but if I don’t take the shot, I’ll never find the spark. As a designer, I believe play, risk, and experimentation are how we grow.”
