Eulogy of the Dog

“Eulogy of the Dog” commemorates several of modern history's renowned dogs, whose companionship, sacrifice, and services were instrumental to humanity’s development, discovery, and survival. The series' title borrows George G. Vest’s infamous Senate speech in 1870, where he defends the honour of a murdered foxhound named "Old Drum", solemnly lamenting a dog's unbridled love and loyalty to man despite their cruelty and ignorance
