Naylah Crossfield-Spence is a graduating fourth-year student in Environmental Design with a specialization in Interior Design at OCAD University. With a strong passion for residential interiors, Naylah is particularly drawn to creating functional and emotionally resonating spaces for her users or target audience. Her design approach blends thoughtful conceptual development with a deep understanding of how people interact with their environments.Naylah’s strengths lie in her creative problem-solving abilities, innovative conceptual thinking, and a unique artistic eye. She excels in collage-making, graphic design, and model building—skills that allow her to communicate her ideas in dynamic and visually compelling ways. Her work often reflects a sensitivity to materials, light, and spatial relationships, with an emphasis on storytelling and user experience.In addition to her design work, Naylah is adept at digital and hand-rendered visualization, and she enjoys experimenting with mixed media to express her ideas. She aims to design homes that not only reflect the personalities and needs of their inhabitants but also contribute to their well-being and comfort.As she transitions from student to emerging professional, Naylah is excited to bring her vision, technical skills, and creative passion into the residential design industry, where she hopes to continue exploring how thoughtful interiors can positively impact daily life.
