“My practice lives at the intersection of digital fabrication and embedded electronics: CNC routers, waterjets, laser cutters, microcontrollers, and a lot of failed prototypes that taught me more than the working ones. I document the process daily on Instagram and the projects, the problems, and how I solved them.”

Sinan Almis is a Turkish American industrial designer, and maker based in Toronto, Canada. He is interested in the intersection of design, fabrication, and technology bringing ideas from CAD to physical reality through hands-on making. His practice spans product design, 3d printing and prototyping, furniture design, kinetic sculpture, metalwork, jewelry, and digital fabrication. He is experienced in 3D printing, waterjet cutting, laser cutting, CNC routing, lost–wax casting, mould–making, and electronics prototyping
