“My work considers identity as something assembled in the space between memory and absence. Working from gaps in biological knowledge, I attempt to construct the self through fragments. Images, materials, and gestures echo inherited narratives without fully resolving them. Collage becomes both process and language, where layering, cutting, and reconfiguration mirror the instability of memory and the ongoing formation of identity.”

Kenna Lewis is a Toronto based emerging abstract artist. Having studied at DVSA and OCADu, Kenna is working now mainly combining collage and painting techniques, envisioning a surrealist world for shapes and colours to battle it out on the picture plane.
