Lucas Piperias is more of a wandering poet than any visual artist. Like Diogenes he also lives in a barrel. I've seen him work with stuff is a good way to put it, absolutely hates painting. It seems his main goal is to take a lot of words and turn it into clutter, that clutter somehow representing the initial words. I mean it's not like the words make sense. You'll hear him say "Mastodonic" I think he just means massive. Maybe it's all the migraines he gets. - Chuck
