“I begin with instinctive marks and allow them to be shaped, interrupted, and partially controlled. My work explores the space where spontaneity and structure meet, and where play continues to exist within restraint.”
Tinghui Liu is a visual artist whose practice spans analogue abstraction and digital illustration. A graduate of the Bachelor of Design in Illustration program at OCAD University, her work explores childhood memory and instinctive forms of expression.
