Katherine Costal is a writer and filmmaker from Toronto, Canada currently studying Creative Writing at OCAD University. As one of her longtime passions, filmmaking serves as the medium where she expresses her love of comedy and surrealism, aiming to create films that represent realistic situations with visual storytelling that is metaphorical in nature. Katherine's work portrays fun, witty, and colourful imagery layered with a darker, more melancholic undertone throughout. When she's not telling stories through a camera, she can be found dreaming up new fantasy worlds or planning her next adventure.
